Well I went to the podiatrist on Jan. 25. My toenail had
grown back and went ingrown causing major infections on both sides of the nail
bed. He removed the problem parts but left toenail on the bed. It hurt like
hell the next 2 days (when the local wore off). The healing started the third
day. Since I have feeling at the bone only, the pressure on the toe bone was
relieved with the removal of the ingrowns. Before the ingrowns were removed,
the Dr. cleaned off the nail showing a fully grown nail to Andrew’s surprise.
Andrew never saw a nail Since Sept.3 when the other podiatrist removed it. On
Feb.8 we went back for a follow-up. The Dr. said it looked good but did not
want to kill the nail so it wouldn’t grow because of my poor circulation/poor
ability/healing time. He also said that if it starts seeping to soak it and
give it 6 months. Dr. Pham in Marysville is A okay in my book.
